“I shop locally because it’s the right thing to do. It’s important to support local people, and shopping at their stores helps me to know & love these store-owners whose part in our economy is vital. We live downtown Holland in part so that we can walk to and shop at markets and boutiques downtown. Growing up my parents took us to harvest sales and bought produce from farming friends, so this has always been the norm for me.”
