Co-owners Jaye and Jackie have been active in the community for over 30 years and as Jackie states it, “We love what we do and feel very fortunate to have had our business in Grand Rapids for 20 years! We are very dedicated to Eastown and Uptown.” Jaye was on the Eastown Business Association Board for 12 years, serving as President for five of those. She also served on the Local First Board during its first three years. She is currently Chair of the Uptown Business Improvement District Board.
Spirit Dreams has been awarded five Neighborhood Business Alliance Awards since 1990 and five Townie Awards since 2003. In 2011, Jaye received the P. Michael Wanroy Volunteer in Business Award. In 2013, she was honored with the Guy Bazzani Local Legacy Award from Local First.
